Photonfocus AG Appoints New Chairman of the Board
LACHEN, SWITZERLAND - Photonfocus AG announced that Marcel J. Krist has been appointed chairman of the board of directors, effective immediately.
Krist joined Photonfocus AG in January 2007 as chief executive with the mandate to evaluate and reset the company’s business strategy. Under the new strategic direction of Krist the team at Photonfocus focuses on three key growth areas: development of leading-edge products, sustainable expansion of the global customer base and promotion of strategic partnerships. Despite the challenges of the current market environment, Photonfocus AG continues to demonstrate its exceptional technological expertise in the machine vision industry with the development of products such as the A1312 CMOS sensor and cameras in monochrome, color and NIR.

In addition Photonfocus AG is pleased to announce the appointment of Milko Kostadinov as sales and marketing manager. Kostadinov is responsible for maintaining and building Photonfocus’ global network of distributors and for implementing the company’s growth strategy together with the sales and marketing team.
