Expansion continues for Bristol-based Imetrum with the appointment of new non-executive director, Michael Foster. Michael an impressive background in engineering management combined with experience in addressing a wide range of business challenges.  He is currently active in a range of non-executive roles, supporting and mentoring developing companies.

After graduating in engineering and electrical sciences from the University of Cambridge, Michael subsequently qualified and practiced as a solicitor.  He has chaired listed companies in India and South Africa, and held responsibility for organizations throughout the BRIC economies and emerging markets, as well as in Europe and North America.  He held legal and corporate finance positions at GKN plc.  Foster has held positions at Trafalgar House, Kvaerner Engineering and Construction and, lastly Charter International plc.  He is a Fellow of the Association of Corporate Treasurers.
