LOUISVILLE, CO — Boulder Imaging announced three new additions to its staff.

Drew Miller joins BI as director of software engineering, focusing on performance, accuracy and resiliency for all BI software capabilities.

Miller's "innovative approach to customer needs is clearly measurable, with one patent awarded, 17 pending patent applications and five more in progress. In addition to his background in developing state-of-the-art solutions for customer problems, he also brings a background of success in software security and GPU computing to BI," the company stated in a news release.

“Our suite of high performance software products is integral to the speed and accuracy of our HPDVR and machine vision technologies,” said Don Mills, BI president and chief operating officer. “Drew’s unique expertise will ensure that we continue to excel in and advance our software capabilities and we look forward to his contributions to the team.”

Brian Richards and Derek Kerr also joined BI as senior account managers, responsible for developing business for BI’s in-line inspection technology for architectural products.

Brian Richards comes to BI with more than nine years of product management and sales engineering expertise, developing, supporting, selling and marketing products in both new and existing product categories. His diverse technical background includes experience in medical, automotive, industrial and microelectronics industries.

Derek Kerr’s background includes 10 years of sales and manufacturing experience in the aerospace, printing, architectural products, paper and automotive industries where he specialized in selling electronic and fluid power automation repair services.

“Quality assurance is critical with architectural products as the sophistication of materials and finishes continue to evolve,” said Mills. “BI’s technology is uniquely capable to meeting the industry’s needs, and Brian and Derek’s extensive sales and technical backgrounds will be pivotal in expanding the presence of our SX and SCX series inspection systems.”
