MCLEAN, VA — Registration is now open for the IMTS 2016 Conference, a key educational attraction at IMTS – The International Manufacturing Technology Show. The IMTS 2016 Conference, which runs for four days during IMTS, offers 55-minute long seminars that provide solutions to current manufacturing problems, such as improving productivity, improving part quality and developing a stable, competent workforce to lower the cost of manufacturing in the United States and create new levels of market demand.

“These conferences provide opportunities to stay on the leading edge of technology, a core mission of IMTS,” said Peter R. Eelman, vice president of exhibitions and business development for the Association For Manufacturing Technology. “Presentations from thought leaders in many different disciplines inspire new ways to transform your business, whether that’s learning how to implement Industry 4.0 practices or improving results in a specific work cell.”

Eelman also notes the conferences provide excellent networking opportunities.

The IMTS 2016 Conference runs from Sept. 12–15. There are nearly 70 individual conference sessions from which to choose, all held in the West Building – Level 1 of McCormick Place in rooms W192 A-C, W193 A-B and W194-A.

IMTS also hosts eight additional educational conferences that focus on specific technologies: Additive Manufacturing (Sept. 13-14), EOS North American User Day (Sept. 14), Fluid Power (Sept. 14), Industrial Laser (Sept. 13), Integrated Industries (Sept. 13), Global Automation & Manufacturing Summit (Sept. 14), OPC Foundation (Sept. 15) and TRAM Aerospace (Sept. 14-15).

A variety of pricing packages are available, including single-day sessions and full conference and show discount packages. Registration for any conference includes full access to all IMTS exhibit halls for all six days. For a complete list of conference details and pricing, visit IMTS.com/conf.
