MUSKEGON, MI — Smart Vision Lights, a leading designer and manufacturer of high-brightness LED lights for industrial applications, announced the expansion of its European and Asian sales and support operations with a new United Kingdom office and the addition of machine vision industry veteran, Tony Carpenter.

Carpenter will assume the position of business development manager for Europe-Asia. He has spent the last 35-plus years in technical sales positions in a number of large and small high-tech companies. His background includes work with Marconi, Bicc-Vero, FKI, Dowty, Texas Instruments, Teradyne, and Infrared Integrated Systems. Tony learned the machine vision business while working on the management team of Gardasoft, where he helped grow that company’s European and Asian presence.

A resident of Northamptonshire in the East Midlands of England, Tony has a deep background in electronics and electrical engineering. He has a Scottish Technical Education Council (SCOTEC) certificate from Lauder Technical College in Dunfermline, Scotland.
