MARLBOROUGH, MA — Adcole Corporation announced that its board of directors has appointed Jeff Walker as its president and chief executive officer, effective immediately.

Walker joined Adcole in 2017 as vice president of global sales and marketing.

An engineer by education, he has over 20 years of experience in sales, sales management, business development, and marketing. Prior to joining Adcole, he served as vice president of global sales and marketing for Olympus Scientific Solutions Division’s analytical instruments business unit.

“Jeff has proven to be an effective leader since joining Adcole and his skills will help sustain our position as a world leader in industrial metrology while driving our strategic growth,” said Peter Hunter, chairman of the board of directors and managing director of the private equity firm Artemis Capital Partners, majority owner of Adcole.
