This month’s Quality delves into the idea of things coming back around, but it is by no means innocuous. Reshoring, or insourcing, is a hot topic of conversation amongst companies that continue to strive to bring themselves closer to their customers.
Put yourself in someone else’s shoes. It’s a great way to describe empathy, a subject I have talked about in other columns. But the phrase is also a great way to describe one important aspect of what designers and engineers do with every project, especially quality engineers—environment stress testing and screening.
