GAF Materials Selects Data Vine for Supply Chain Quality Control

BRISTOL, CT-GAF Material Corp. has completed a successful trial of the www.i2SPC.com Web-based supply chain portal from software provider Data Vine LLC. The system was tested with two suppliers and found to meet the following needs: Automated review and analysis of supplier inspection data prior to shipment, immediate rejection of nonconforming data, trend analysis, automated alerts of unfavorable trends or potentially high defect rates and storage of quality documents such as certificates of compliance and supplier scorecards. GAF Material Corp. is now in the process of deploying the program throughout its supply chain.

www.i2SPC.com provides a secure Web site that allows OEMs and suppliers to import, validate, share and distribute inspection data and quality documents throughout their supply chain.
