Three new models in the Falcon high performance camera family are now available. The Falcon VGA300 HG, 1M120 HG and 1.4M100 HG provide complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) image sensors and can be used for electronics inspection, semiconductor inspection, industrial metrology (gaging) and other machine vision applications. The 1M120 HG offers 1 megapixel resolution with 120 frames per second (fps), while the 1.4M100 HG delivers 1.4 megapixel resolution with 100 fps.

In addition to the HG models optimized for high sensitivity, the Falcon 1.4M100 XDR 1.4 megapixel camera delivers 100 fps and is optimized for high dynamic range. These cameras have CMOS technology for lower power consumption and support Power over Camera Link (PoCL), which removes the need for a separate power cable and reduces system cost and cabling complexity.
