TROY, MI-X-R-I Testing, a provider of nondestructive testing (NDT) services to the aerospace, automotive and other industries, appointed Steve Olson as business unit manager of their Cleveland facility. Olson will be responsible for day-to-day operations at the facility and replaces Bob Henchar, who moved to X-R-I Technical Consulting Group.

Olson holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Dayton and an MBA from Baldwin-Wallace College. He also is a member of the American Foundrymen’s Society. Olson resides in Chardon, OH, with his wife and two children.

X-R-I Testing’s Cleveland facility provides a range of NDT services and is uniquely equipped with three high-energy X-ray systems capable of penetrating up to 11 inches of steel. X-R-I Testing has more than 65 years of experience in providing a broad range of nondestructive testing services, including liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, eddy current, ultrasonic, digital radiography and metal finishing.
