Origin Technologies Corporation announced the availability of its latest LaserGauge DSP sensor, model HS702. This portable, handheld laser profiling system is the smallest and most rugged of the La-serGauge DSP product line.

The HS702 is a complete measurement system in a handheld design and weighs just 25oz. There are no cables to external power sources or connections to a computer during operation. It will be used ex-tensively in the aerospace industry for inspecting fasteners and countersinks and in the automotive in-dustry for measuring gap and flush. The power of the sensor is in its software, which means that one system can be used for many different applications.
