BARRINGTON, NJ — Edmund Optics named Marisa Edmund as executive vice president, global sales and marketing.

In her expanded role, Edmund is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to sustain EO's continuing growth, while also managing all aspects of the company's worldwide marketing and communications program.

Ms. Edmund began her career at Edmund Optics in 1998 as director of human resources. Subsequently, she was director of North American major accounts, managing the company's largest military, medical and manufacturing clients. Most recently, Edmund served as executive vice president of marketing and Communications, overseeing Edmund Optics' global marketing initiatives. In 2012, Marisa received the prestigious Direct Marketer Award from Target Marketing magazine in recognition of the innovative ideas and service that she has brought to the direct marketing community during a long and exemplary career. She received her BSBA from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business and earned a Master of Business Studies from Stockton University in New Jersey.
