GREENVILLE, SC – Manufacturing professionals throughout the southeast will emerge on the Metrology Solutions EXPO at the TD Convention Center in Greenville, S.C. from May 2-3.

This show will attract executives, managers, engineers, technicians and purchasers responsible for production and quality control in all types of manufacturing applications. The event is also open to students with aspirations in manufacturing engineering and the metrology sciences.

The Metrology Solutions EXPO is focused 100% on precision measuring (metrology) technologies, instruments, systems and integrations for industrial manufacturing, making it the only trade show of its kind in the southeast. At over 50,000 square feet of exhibits and training rooms, the 2018 show will be five-times the size of the premier MSE held in 2016.

“When it comes to exploring and analyzing new products and technologies for manufacturing quality, no approach equals hands-on demonstrations and face-to-face interaction with product experts”, says Bill Keim, business sales manager of Zeiss Industrial Metrology, the name sponsor of the expo. “Manufacturing processes are changing rapidly and Zeiss has a lot of new and emerging technology to show-off. We’re very enthusiastic about this opportunity.”

Primary EXPO sponsor, Zeiss, will be joined by co-sponsors Mahr, Mitutoyo, Starrett and ViciVision, all are world leading manufacturers of industrial precision measuring instruments and systems. Some others of the many exhibitors include Brown & Sharpe/TESA Technologies, Easy-METRIC, Johnson Gage, NDC Technologies (Beta-LaserMike), Inspection Arsenal, Accurate Technology, API Laser Tracker, Flexbar, MSI-Viking Gage, Mark-10, Maya Gage, MicroRidge, Oasis Inspection Systems, Ohaus Corporation, Olympus, Solartron Metrology, Stor-Loc, Tohnichi America, Vermont Gage, Western Gage and Zoller.

Training classes will be held throughout both days taught by industry experts on topics including Industry 4.0, Optical Metrology, GD&T and Wireless Data Processes. Other event highlights include a keynote speech on May 2 delivered by Christopher Downs, assistant director strategic analytics, of the Association for Manufacturing Technology (AMT); featured Joe Gibbs Racing cars, and much more.

The Metrology Solutions EXPO is hosted and produced by MSI-Viking Gage company, the regional distributor for all the exhibiting metrology manufacturers.

“Not only is the Southeast manufacturing landscape growing and diversifying, but with advancing technologies in integrations, robotics, and information tracking; manufacturing processes are also transforming at a remarkable pace”, says Dan Carter, president of MSI-Viking Gage. “Our company is exclusively focused on metrology products and services. This EXPO represents MSI-Viking Gage’s continued commitment to being the comprehensive resource for the metrology needs of our customers.”
