CHATTANOOGA, TN — ATEQ opened a new facility in Chattanooga. It will serve as a facility for leak testing sales, service, training and repairs for customers in the southeastern region of the United States.

The office will be a new home base for ATEQ Territory Manager John Platt. He is supported by a new service technician, Zachary Massengale, and a new applications/service engineer, Shane Stanfield. The Chattanooga office will serve as the primary sales and service location for new and existing customers in the following states: Tennessee, Kentucky, North and South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.

With the addition of this new southeastern office, ATEQ seeks to improve customer satisfaction by reducing sales lead time and service turnaround time.

“We have wanted to open an office in Tennessee for a long time since we have many customers in this territory. It will be nice to have a local facility for me to use for training, customer meetings and servicing instruments along with a warehouse to keep our own stock of instruments and parts,” commented John Platt, southeastern territory manager.

The new location is one of three offices in the United States. The U.S. headquarters is in Livonia, MI and another new office was also established in Santa Clara, CA in the summer of 2017. ATEQ North America also has an office in Mississauga, Ontario Canada and in Querétaro Mexico. For more detailed information about all of ATEQ’s global locations, visit
