Simplifying inspection of an object from all angles, without the need for constant Z-axis adjustment of the digital camera, is enabled by the new HD-041 360-degrees rotating viewer from Inspectis© AB. 

According to Alistair Gooch, Marketing Manager, “The 360-degree viewer has a built-in lens to maintain focus without Z-adjustment in both oblique and top view positions. The push-pull slide mechanism has spring-loaded ball screws to easily find and fix the positions.”

“Focus is maintained at all tilt angles once the working distance is set and fixed at 80 mm, as described in the user manual,” he adds. “Therefore, no Z-adjustment [axial movement of the camera] is required, simplifying the inspection process while keeping it steady and reliable.”

 The viewer can be mounted on the ring light or screwed directly to digital F and U microscopes. The inspection process is powered by Inspectis Pro Utility and Metrology Software for image capture, measurement, analysis and reporting.
