The XRD N ES Detector Series is comprised of amorphous silicon (a-Si) digital X-ray detectors that are radiation-hardened and designed to withstand the demanding, high-energy test environments found in continuously operated production lines, making them appropriate for in-line NDT applications. The XRD 1621 N ES is a 16-inch detector that provides up to 30 frames per second (fps) of real-time images and is suitable for radiation energies from 20 kilo-electron volts to 15 mega-electron volts.

It provides a pixel size of 200 micrometers and an image size of 2,048 by 2,048 pixels. The XRD 0820 N ES is an 8-inch detector that provides up to 30 fps of real-time images and is suitable for radiation energies from 20 kilo-electron volts to 450 kilo-electron volts. It provides a pixel size of 200 micrometers and an image size of 1,024 by 1,024 pixels.
