Hawkeye Pro flexible borescopes are used to provide images of cracks, burrs, voids, flash, surface-finish irregularities and numerous other defects. The borescopes contain 18,000 fiber, acid-leached, optical-glass imaging bundles that are engineered to reduce crosstalk between the fibers and increase image contrast. Two-way articulation allows the operator to control the direction of view over a 240-degree range. In addition, the borescopes have tungsten and/or stainless steel braided sheaths, which adds durability.
